Spiekinan treasurer. Vignette of a spread winged eagle atop globe. Black border with bronze seal and safety print. Uncancelled. Printer - Broun-Green, NY. 8 x 11. This company was not referenced within our library. We have found numerous companies incorporated in Arizona. This does not guarantee that the mine or operation was in Arizona. Needs more research. Extremely fine. Est. $25-50

1571. Mining. General. Clarendon Mill and Mining Company of Arizona. Incorporated in New York. Certificate number 489 issued to Thomas Barclay in 1880 for 100 shares. Signed by President W. C. Burr, 2nd vice president and assistant secretary, name illegible. Dark green border, vignette of underground miners upper center, uncancelled, 8 x 12, VF condition with folds and two-hole punch at left. Black print on white paper. There is a seal pressed at the bottom of the bond. Folds. Size 14 1/2 X 16”. There are no references to the principles of this company in our research. This is probably a typical company incorporated in Arizona because of the cheap cost of incorporation there, without any Arizona operations.
