Stockman has over 20 years of healthcare management experience, most recently as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for Robert Wood Johnson Teaching Hospital, where she excelled in all aspects of hospital management. and generated significant gains in terms of revenue and patient volumes. She began her career as a nurse at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey; Due to her clinical experience, Lydia brings a holistic, patient-centered approach to all executive decision-making and effectively engages physicians in change management initiatives.
While serving at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Stockman enjoyed many successes, including establishing the first intermediate care unit for the line of cardiac services and leading the organization of a primary stroke center. to a full stroke center. She did this by executing a growth strategy that included recruiting the best physicians and securing funding for the expansion of their neurocritical intensive care unit, which allowed the unit to exceed all primary stroke measures, improvements in mortality measures and increased capacity.
Stockman has shown leadership in mentoring and supporting business related groups to engage employees in their organization and help develop new leaders. As a Latino Leader, she was an Executive Sponsor of SALUD (Service & Advocacy for Latinos United for Development), a Latino and Hispanic business group that recognizes Latinos in the workplace and community.
