Since joining Flat Branch Home Loans as a processor approximately nine years ago, Karen Kreutziger has quickly risen through the ranks to CEO while helping the company achieve significant growth. When she started at Flat Branch Home in 2011, Kreutziger demonstrated a drive that has since led her to her current role. From selling direct to agencies like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to creating programs for new products like HUD 184 and portfolio loans, Kreutziger consistently takes the lead when it comes to improving the edge. competitive advantage of Flat Branch Home Loans. And she does all of this while maintaining a great customer experience. Under his leadership, the company has grown from 30 people at three sites to more than 400 people in 15 states and 53 sites, and is seeking more than $ 2 billion in loans this year. At Flat Branch Home Loans, she worked with a programmer to customize processes and empower teams to automate time-consuming and repetitive tasks. Additionally, she got her insurance license and added an insurance division to Flat Branch Home Loans.

What’s the thing you would say to a younger version of yourself?
“If you are trying to grow into a leadership role, my advice is to find a mentor. A mentor with different strengths from yours so you can work on being more balanced. Trust would be the other element. You have to be confident.
